The design duo Kristýna Mikolášková and Tereza Drobná work under the brand Mikolášková & Drobná, having launched their collaboration in 2021.

Their style combines bold shapes, vibrant colours, and architectural fragments used as metaphors. Their “Scene Collection”, created during the pandemic, was a response to isolation – a series of interior objects that evoke the aesthetics of stage design and theatrical backdrops.

Key milestones in their work include a nomination for the Czech Grand Design Award (for example, in the Discovery of the Year category) for the Scene Collection.

For BOOK SPACE, the designers created a series of bookends in a deep navy-blue shade, with one of them becoming the central visual motif of the entire installation.
