Designers Terezie Lexová and Štěpán Smetana have been working together since 2018. Their practice focuses on product design, interiors, window displays, and small-scale architecture.  

Their collection “SWELL”, bent-wood tables made of layered plywood and solid ash wood,  was awarded Elle Deco Winner 2022 and has received several other awards. For the brand Polstrin, they designed the modular seating system “Infinite”, which earned international recognition, including the BigSEE Award 2021. 

In the BOOK SPACE, their work is represented by the “SWELL” tables – elegantly curved pieces that, in a sophisticated and contemporary way, continue the long tradition of Czech bentwood furniture.
