Aulehla: Sudeten Chronicle, Gustav Aulehla, PosifiF, 2020, 240 pp., Illustrations/graphic design: Studio M Nedvěd
Sudeten Chronicle is a representative photographic book that provides an extensive overview of the life’s work of Gustav Aulehla (1931–2021), a designer and photographer from Krnov. From the mid-1950s to the early 1990s, Aulehla used his Leica camera to capture everyday life in small towns and villages in the Krnov and Bruntál regions, as well as in Ostrava, Olomouc, and Opava—in other words, in the Silesian region known as the Sudetenland.
