Masopust is a brand of wool rugs and tapestries founded by designer Anna Štajglová. After studying industrial and product design and in 2020 she founded Masopust, deciding to focus her work on textiles. In 2020, she received the “Designer of the Year” award from Czech Grand Design for her independent brand.

Her main technique is tufting, which she describes as her form of creative expression. She mostly works with wool, creating bold, colorful, and playful pieces. Among her notable commissions are the window displays for the Hermès boutique on Pařížská Street in Prague and a custom tapestry created for the interior of Akademie Libchavy.

For BOOK SPACE, Anna designed an original rug created specifically for the space, ensuring a seamless connection between design and the exhibition environment.
